HELP! i wan tot change my vauxhall astra p reg maufactur radio/stereo

I want to change the radio in my vauxhall astra p reg. It has the manufacturar radio and I have a new one, but I don't know what cables connect to each other!!! does anyone know of a diagram to help me connect my new stereo to the car?

If you take the old radio out, you should be able to pull it out of the dash board without disconnecting any cables. Do this gently though.


You should find, whats called an ISO connector. Essentially this is a male and female. The car will have all the power cables, aerial and speaker cables into one block, which can be easily plugged into a huge ISO-shaped socket on the back of your new radio. Its basically plug-plug-and play. unplug one, plug in another. You might need an adaptor cable but this will be easily available from most car modifying shops, inc Halfords.
