What is a bulk disc?
Question Author
Don`t know-that s why I am asking.Nobody said she knew exactly what she was on about!
She obviously has the wrong word.

Could be a faulty "brake" disc which could affect the steering when braking although I doubt if it would be enough to cause the car to spin round and round. A lot would depend on the fault, the severity of braking and road surface.

A brake disc can be bought from 25 upwards depending on the car. Labour would have to be added and possibly new brake pads will be needed.

Average car about 150 to 200. If that is the fault,
Sorry, forgot to add if there is a fault with the disc or pads they will have to be replaced in pairs, ie. both wheels. Cost a bit more I'me afraid.
Sounds like either a rear brake disc has partially broken off causing the pad or brake parts to lock up the wheel or a pad has disintegrated causing the disc to jam with bits locking the wheel and do an unintentional handbrake turn.

thats what happens when you let women drive!!!

only joking, honest. tell her to go to a garage or a knowledgable enthusiast. not a person that thinks they have an idea, brakes are serious things, not for bodgers!

failing that, buy a bus pass.
