You will just have to wait and see. It is unlikely (but not impossible) that you will be prosecuted for doing 35 in a 30.

well if the driver in front has and u were doin the same, u shud hav.

and remember:

SPEEDING KILLS

YA MOOSE

I remember reading that they allow 10% + 2mph so that would mean 30 + (10% of 30 ) + 2 = 35. These cameras are just gathering revenue from easy targets. Have a look on www.safespeed.org.uk loads of good info on there -- also have a look at www.pepipoo.com
Sorry homer, but they are "gathering revenue" (your phrase) from motorists who are breaking the law.
Gef, while I take your point that speeding is against the law, therefore punishable.
Im concerned at the police reliance on static, revenue gathering equipment that criminalises easy targets, whilst disregarding more serious acts.
How can a police Speed camera arrest someone driving a stolen car, apprehend a drunk or dangerous driver? It cant even prevent a driver speeding if they choose too, just fine them later.
I could understand if the money being raised was being spent on recruiting and training real flesh and blood coppers who can actually intervene and stop these crimes, but instead were buying more cameras. This is little to do with road safety.

I was clocked doing 32 mph and received a 60 fine and 3 penalty points, so all this about allowances is rubbish. At the time I was on a dual carriage way in Chorley Lancashire, just accelerating away from a roundabout in 3rd gear. I was suprised I had been 'flashed' and stunned when the paperwork arrived thru the post.

That was my first motoring fine in 23 years of driving.

My brother in law was fined and endorsed for doing 76 mph on the M40 in Oxfordshire in a 70mph zone, no road works or anything.
