my car was broken into and cash was stolen (door lock knocked out) in work parking lot. One month later someone backed into my car door and put a 16" dent in it. Do i have any rights to ask employer to provide the insurance or fix my car??

not usually, unless they require you to travel to work by car and use their carpark and even then maybe not. Somewhere you will probably see a sneaky disclaimer saying that the management accepts no responsibilty for loss or damage to vehicles using their space!

sorry to hear about you bad luck and not to rub it in but why were you leaving cash in your car and who knew about it?

If that happened to me I would not be able to claim against the Local Authority for which I work (in the UK) but I would be able to claim through my union.
Well, for that you will need to consult a good auto insurance company which can help you to get information about the laws and rules as well. Because in these type of cases it is quite difficult to ask someone to fix your car. I would suggest you to visit http://www.autoinsurancehq.org/car-insurance/texas/san-antonio as here you can easily get information about the insurance policy and also about the cost of the repair service as well.
