At home, I take the keys out of it... Used to leave the keys in the ignition in previous cars, but felt I should update my security measures with the new one.

At drop off at nursery or the local shop, I take the keys out, don't bother locking it.

In town though I do actually lock it.

I do live in the Highlands where car theft is practically non-existent.

It's surprising that some members can answer a perfectly straight forward Q & others find it very difficult! we live in a strange world don't we? does it bother me? I'm still here.

Perhaps if you tried a more open style when questioning the habits of others you wouldn't receive the responses that you do and you may even receive replies that other ABers could find helpful.

As you say though, you've been here a long while recycling the same questions in exactly the same manner so why change?
Remove/hide contents, key, and lock vehicle. I'm fussy where I park though, some places are a no-no to me.
At home I lock it then lock it in the garage.
Outside I make sure that there is nothing visible inside, anything valuable in the boot and always lock it.
