£50 fine for throwing a fag butt down !!
Preamble -for as much as I respect the views of the people who live in glasshouses I would appreciate they didnt preach on this thread.Thank you x
Right -my daughter who lost her job and has managed to secure a seasonal one was going to work -dropped a fag end in the KFC car park and a bleeding DOG WARDEN screeched to a halt in her car and chased back at her and lashed her with a 50 quid fine.She accepted it only after the said DOG WARDEN ran after her as she didnt want to be late for work.
Now from a legal point -it was on private property and there was no CCTV. She cant manage to pay it -she knows she was silly but jeeez -I just wished they actually targetted the people who let their dogs cr@p on public ground rendering us liable to trail it into out homes.
Does it get to the extreme now that if you pick your nose and roll it up and are seen to drop it that you are fined.
I know people who have accepted a 40 quid fine for public disorder and placing people in alarm.
So peeps -what avenue next given she is skint and I think its highly unfair -theres fag ends every bleeding place and outside every bleeding pub.

beso -thanks for your input.Can you honestly hand on heart and not for the benefit of this thread say you have never ever littered -never ever in your life??
tamo think thats the route she will go down and altho I shouldnt laugh but I did at the fag drivers -they are the pits and I once had one flying back into my window almost casing an accident -also had a bird which flew in bizarrely and that almost caused an accident as well as i freaked :)
Elvis -youre right -its mad - KFC litter -I agree -there is a spot just 10 miles out Perth which has nothing but Maccy D litter on the stretch of the road -obviously just when they had finished. She was just walking around the perimeter of KFC car park and TBH if the council doesnt upkeep it then its not deemed as public property.My ex once challenged him getting a ticket for not displaying a tax disc (Police just being pedants he was doing it up) on a road which wasnt maintained by the council and the PF didnt proceed.
Think the Dog Warden -being human has all the same human frailties as us and she didnt use her judgement in this case-but I I am welcoming your replies.
