I'm planning to drive my new Honda CR-V EX to France and need to know if headlamp deflectors are needed. The manual states that headlamps are suitable for left or right hand drive vehicles without adjustment or masking, as per UN-ECE R48 Dover Regulation. If deflectors are not needed, will pointing to this statement satisfy the French Gendarmes?
