Sizing Of Wheel Bearings

I need to replace a front wheel bearing on a Suzuki Ignis 1.3 (53 plate). I have been told to measure the inner diameter of the bearing! Can I do that without actually removing the bearing first? All of the websites seem to list FH and Mk II, whilst the Registration Certificate shows it as GL. It was 1st registered 1 November 2003. Anyone help please?

Take the chassis number to a Suzuki dealer and they will tell you.
