I'm still around.

I might get to Southend this weekend but (due to engineering works) it would be a very long rail journey (including a replacement bus service) and I'd rather not drive as :
(a) the traffic will be horrendous ; and
(b) I wouldn't be able to have a few bevvies in The Cornucopia!

Blimey you're right what a tangled journey that would be choc-o-block full of stress. deffo not worth it.
I've got the extended family coming down from Hitchen so we'll be there in convoys.
