ha, i think i have a question to cover every possible thing for a car on this,
so i'm going to get this one out of the way. my bmw i bought there a couple
of weeks ago, suddenly started to loose acceleration and power, when pressing accelerator, there is a grinding type sound, and when i press the clutch there is a whining, and i was talking about the oil before so i'm assuming that would not be causing the power lose, could it be the clutch, even though it isn't actually slipping, well not obviously slipping anyway

Bloody hell Top's, you don't half get some problems lol, the grinding sounds like the Thrust Bearing within the clutch housing, the power loss will more than likely be the brain of the car, I take it you have checked ALL the Electrical connections? take the top off & change the plugs, if I remember it's a 318 you have? Do you use Red X in your fuel? I use this every Month or so when I fill up this cleans the Injectors & well worth £6.00. If this does not solve the problem get the car Diagnostic tested.
