x reg clio door opening problem

Please can you help ... my rear door of my x reg clio wont open . The other doors work fine.The lock is down . The key fob operates the other doors okay. Thanks

I had this once with my Volvo. Open the door from the inside (if you can) and look on the edge of the door, where the lock mechanism sits. You might see a tab or a slider that manually overrides the child lock. Slide it up (or down) and try again. Hope this helps?

Is this very recent - has the car been out in the cold?

Sort of ha ha .... it took me 15 minutes to defrost it.
