hi the heater that cools and heats the car and windscreen will now only blow out cold air no matter how long i have travelled or left the engine running any ideas to what the problem is i have a ford KA

Check your coolant levels.

The heater matrix is fed from the coolant that is supplied to the radiator. If this gets too low the heater fan can do this.

If the coolant level is OK it's most likely that the coolant system is getting gunked up and needs flushing through.

In either case it could be an early warning of overheating problems - keep an eye on your temperature guage. If the engine does over heat you could get an expenive bill.
Hi, If what has been said has been checked replace the thermostat.
a common problems with KAs is the electronic heater valve , although this usually blows hot rather than cold, always worth checking .
