please can anyone tell me what the dial i the middle of the screen is on a peugeot, it says off, min and max, its in the middle of the rev counter many thanks

On my 406 it sounds like the oil gauge. It only works for a few seconds when you first turn on the ignition. It shows the Oil level and the goes to the off position.
