on my vauxhall corse x regs 2001 the old style. can any one help me and tell me what i'm doing worg thanks

Try out the scanner on another car to see if it works OK.
When connected, is your scanner powering up off the cars' electrics?
Or do you get a vehicle linking/communications error?

You should not connect/disconnect the scanner with the cars' ignition on.

Once the scanner is connected, try with the ignition on and with the engine running.
