hi, i had a provisional licence a few years ago, but never took my theory or practical test. Is that provisional licence still valid, or do i have to apply for another? please help!

Presuming you reside in GB or NI...

Is your provisional licence of the photocard type (exclusively issued since March 2000) or the old paper type.

Paper licences expire when the holder attains 70 years of age; photocard licences must be renewed every 10 years.
