VW Polo Vibration

I have just purchased a secondhand VW Polo, and when it is ticking over, it vibrates. But stops as soon as you accelerate.
Has any other Polo owners had the same problem?

Would you like to let me know your opinions of them ?
(Its a Polo L Diesel 1896cc).

maybe a worn engine mounting or problem with the exhaust??

Is it a three cylinder engine as these vibrate a lot on idle and become smoother as the revs increase
