I hope someone can help me. I have some mechanical experience but this problems seems to be defeating me. I have recently brought a ford ka and the heater doesnt heat up. I have changed the thermostat and drained, flushed out and replaced the coolant in the radiator. All the pipes leading from the thermostat to the radiator and the radiator to inside the car are hot and the radiator is hot. I have tried everything i can think of. can anyone help? Russell

your heater matrix could be the problem.
There is an electrically controlled valve that is hidden under scuttle below wipers they are about 25 i have replaced dozens of these for this type of problem
in that case it will be your heater matrix. a tiny little radiator in behind your centre console. it is the source of heat for the blower which mounts to it. its either blocked or the valve has broken
