Just spoke to the owner on the phone and he told me they had it from new, but they had it imported. Any reasons I should avoid it or anything to look out for?
Thanks

I bought an imported car a few years ago. There is definately a stigma attached to imported vehicles. Dealers will not offer such good trade in (or least use it as an excuse) . I wouldn't buy one again.
they are as good as any car bought in uk,but as previous post has said trade in value not as high, when re selling.
There are soooooo many Focus' available. Don't take the risk, just in case...
I am a trader, all you need to do is check the paper work out and make sure the duty has been paid, otherwise there is no diference.
Some insurance companies charge higher for imported cars.
yes thats true i understand its to do with higher risks of identity fraud and unable to determin previous damage ect.
