provisional licence

does any body know if provisional driving licences have an expiry date, i had a provisinal licence when i was 17 and i am now 32 i was wondering if i need to buy a new licence or if i just apply for a replacement as i have lost my original one?

i think you will have to buy a photocard one eny way if you have lost your licence but if you go to your local post office or www.direct.gov.uk/motoring you will find all of your ansers there
