Are you allowed to let your car tick over in icy weather if it is in your own driveway?
Many thanks.

can i just say this "I'll see your TCL and raise you an AH." is one of the best answers i've EVER seen on AB
Yes it's entertaining to see male members spatting amusingly on here about car stuff. As to the pollution bit, we all do it while sitting in the car in the mornings waiting for the screens to clear, what's the difference whether the driver is present or not?
Unless you intend waiting until spring before driving, having the engine run to clear the windscreen is the sensible option. You can always sit inside to stop potential thieves.

Do you mean, "members who are male" or do you mean, "male members"?
never leave a car idling - unless it's in your garage & you are committing suicide.
Members who are male of course, I meant. They are only male members when they are being ridiculous :-)
Members who identify as male, shurely.
Don't call me shurely
Just pour room temp water over the windscreen and it will clear the ice or fill a plastic bag with hot water and then drag the bag over the ice and it will clear idling is not efficient
it's SURLEY - but only at the weekend
20:16 what a stupid comment get some decorum

I just wait until the ice has melted - sometimes takes a couple of days!
yes waiting for the ice to melt naturally is an option but not one everyone has time for
I meant SURELY of course!
