...VW AG part number ISO 035 936 A...armed with this number you would think it would be very easy to find where to buy it...but I can't find this info, can any one help me please.

That appears to be the part number for a satnav cradle manufactured by Navigon. Try a phone call to their UK Customer Service team on 020 3364 5669 between 0900 and 1300, or between 1400 and 1700, Mondays to Fridays.
