How does one get cd's to eject from the player which are seemingly stuck?

You usually have to take the whole cassette out and flip a plastic handle to release them.

Take the unit it out and remove the top of the casing, then plug it back in to the power and try and see what's going on, if you can then unplug it and tray and extract by hand without damaging anything.... they are fairly fragile, you may find something like this on youtube...
