Can food taste of fags?

My husband's gran kindly baked us a cake. I've just started eating a slice and the icing on the top really tastes of the smell of cigarettes. When I smell the icing, it stinks of smoke. Shall I throw the whole cake away? I think it's just the icing that tastes vile/smoky.

lol I can't give it to anyone cause there's a piece missing now. I threw that piece in the bin and had 2 choc hobnobs instead.

When hubby gets home from work I'll tell him how delicious it is and he must try some after tea and see if he notices!

Honestly, the icing stinks so bad. I'm definitely not letting my daughter have any lol

Yes she does lol! I don't smoke and as soon as I tasted the icing, I thought eww, that tastes funny and it's deffo smoke.

Don't really want to eat it as the smoke is prob all over the cake and it can't be good for you to eat it.

thats the trouble when people smoke indoors everything gets contaminated and they don't notice it.. .especially anything a bit damp like food...and if you normally live in a smoke free environment you really notice it

lol B00! Trust me, you wouldn't want it.

I was really looking forward to it as well as my OH said she makes lovely cakes.

Anyway, I guessed I answered my own question that food can taste of fags. . . guess I was just wondering if anyone else had sampled 'smoky food' lol.
