Question Author
well welsh what did you think not bad eh!
YES! I really enjoyed it......love a happy ending!.......................
No
I really enjoyed it too, more so than the first episode. 10/10 to Sue Johnson + Botox & new crowns, >>>>
Might be outnumbered here and shouted down too but I think - and my OH too - say that this week was really cr@p compared to last week

Just what was Betty (Sue Johnson) doing??? Leaving the church and eventually climbing on the roof. Marks wedding was a joke (as was his flirting with 'er next door). Jo went from the wife from hell to sweetness and light when the 'happy couple' got in the balloon!

Sorry wouldnt give it more than 5/10
I enjoyed it, but in a completely different way to the first episode. I felt I was watching 2 different dramas - the 2nd episode being more farce than drama.
It was OK,but I don't remember TV Remotes in the 80's(I could be wrong though) and phrases like the Fireman used: "Let's not go there"
When was the Queens Silver jubilee? I remember in that year our neighbour had a posh new TV with REMOTE CONTROL.
70s wasn't it?
Enjoyed both, but it was like two separate dramas and last night's was pure comedy. I actually enjoyed last night's more due to the terrific comedy acting of Sue Johnson and Alun Armstrong. Mind you, the atmosphere of the 50's was perfectly captured in the first part.
The words Kay Mellor put me off
Queens Jubilee 1972
whoops 1977
Jemisa,TV they showed was the old push-button type,if you had taken any notice of it.
