Not my sort of thing, but it seems quite sweet from the bits I have seen. I'd certainly rather see more of stuff like Lark Rise on the schedules than the hours and hours of "reality" TV, Z-list celebs desperate for publicity, and "talent" shows that they are currently awash with.

Not at all Jem,please don't use tautology on me! LOL
I always watch a first episode of most series(especially when it becomes a 2nd series etc),to see if they are good,or if they have slipped;and as I say (sadly) Lark Rise is now no better than some of the worst soaps.
Basically it's become a 19thC Soap opera,I wish it wasn't but there you have it,or rather I don't.
