So sad to read that Bates - Brenda Coyle has a serious drink problem and has been banned from driving for four years. I thought it was odd in the last episode of D/A as he had so little to say. Apparently he had problems remembering his lines. I think he was in Lark Rise to Candleford, and he was excellent in D/A at the beginning. Do hope he gets the help he needs.

I`m not sure that his drinking had anything to do with the fact that he didn`t have so much to say. He was sent home for two days because he couldn`t remember his lines due to having been out on a bender. Shame his rehab in Thailand didn`t work - he fell at the first hurdle on his flight home. Maybe he will get more luck with treatment in the UK
