My husband seems to think CJ de Mooi was born in Wales. I've googled him and can't find the answer. Anyone know?

I've had a forage on Google, CJ stands for Connagh-Joseph which could be Irish?
Here you go.

C.J. de Mooi

Barnsley born C.J is a retired model with 3 ‘A’ Levels in Communication Studies, Theatre and English. He has a Degree in English and Performing Arts, and will soon embark on his 2nd degree in Humanities. C.J is also the reigning British Mensa chess champion.
De Mooi is also not his real name - it's Dutch for "Beautiful Man" - wonder why he picked that???
In that case he should`ve named himself BJ de Mooi
If you're talking about the bloke from Eggheads- he said the other day the he was born in Wales.

Thanks one and all. He may well be Welsh but he (and Daphne) still get on my nerves!
pleeeeeeease don't tell me CJ is Yorkshire..........
There isn't anything wrong with Yorkshire. CJ should be proud. We have Cities such as York and Harrogate which can match anywhere in the country for culture, class and history. Yorkshire has its rough areas, but then I would never live near Blackbird Leys in Oxford again as it is a dump, where you risk your life walking through at night. Don't knock Yorkshire, you can't compete
