Did anyone else think that John Humphrys made a better chairman on Question Time, than David Dimbleby?

He certainly livened up that boring panel.

both ok its just a job
I agree, he did do a better job, but then he's a little more 'Paxman-esque' than Dimbleby.
Humphrys will move in for the jugular from the word go and is a little more forthright in his line of questioning.
i dont watch it, my hubby watches it all the time and i have no choice but to watch it with him, coz he watches things with me, which he doesnt like. anyway back to the question, yep he was a little more chilled out than dimbleby, i dont like dimbleby anyway hes such a snotty git
Personally I don't think either of them do a particularly good job as chairman. They both ask far too many questions instead of the panel members rather than chair the programme. If it gets much worse they can do without the audience and just let the chairman ask the questions.
