Waking the Dead

Why was Mel in last nights Waking the Dead - now thats taking the title too literally!! (Sorry if this is on here but it seems to have got lost in the ether at my end!)

It was a repeat of a previous episode.
Boyd without the beard threw me.

It was a bizarre decision to show an old episode immediately after the current run had finished.

It was a filler. They won't put anything new on until after bank holiday Monday. The BBC has Messiah for that weekend and then the autumn schedule starts. But I do agree, Waking the Dead (Mel) was a strange choice.
