strickly disappointed!!!

I was disappointed with the show this series. It seemed from the start that Alesha would win...she started a good dancer and remained that way. It was lovely to see Matt learn to dance and improve week after week ending on a par with Alesha..he should have won the trophy as the progress he made was far far greater.

I too enjoyed Matt's progress but it is a dance competition and the best dancer won.

Jill Halfpenny was exactly the same - she had had some previous dance training and was good from the start.

were you actually disappointed with the show or disappointed because you thought the wrong person won? The reason it seemed from the start she would win is because she was the best dancer i guess. the brits do love an underdog though!

She was an excellent dancer I agree.It was so obviious that she would win that alot of the surprise element of the show was taken away for me.
I find it so nice to watch the contestants progress and wonder who will do well and win,but it just didn't happen in this series.

It`s harder for the male celebrities as they have to learn to lead. I thought that Matt should have won.

matt didnt deserve to get through after the terrible week he had previously. If it was a dance competion he would have gone earlier on. forgetting two dances when all other competitors managed to do theirs meant he got the pity vote and got through. He wasn't very humble when he got through that week and showed poor sportsmanship i think.

But surely it wasn't obvious. All the press said Gabby Logan would have a good chance, but 'cos the public (bless their cotton socks) kept voting for Kate Garraway, who's got two left feet(!), Gabby got voted off! Admittedly Alesha was a good dancer from the start, but unlike some she had had no dance training before 'Strictly' (unless you count bopping around in music vids!).
