I am convinced that on EE a few episodes ago I noticed Jim`s car parked outside his house although he had been absent for a while. As I knew that he had not returned I assumed he had not used to to go and see Carol. However, tonight Dot starts looking for her car keys only to be reminded that Jime had it. Does anyone else remember seeing the car there since Jim left?

Er, no! What has happened to Jim (in real life?) is he coming back into it -he reminds me of my dad.

Sorry Tit-4-Tat, can't answer about the car I'm afraid...

Lankeela - John Barden suffered a stroke in June 2007 - so the story about going to stay with Carol was covering this. Really don't know if he's likely to return or not.

well he had a stroke in real life and I dont think we know if he's coming back or not yet. He was in a pretty bad way

He did have a stroke in real life and is very unlikely to return. About his car.....Dot took driving lessons. I think I saw the same car in an old episode of Casualty and it was Charlie's car.
