Can anyone tell me what sort of logic makes the decision to show a potentially disturbing film such as 'Edward Scissorhands' on a Sunday afternoon, yet demotes something as innocuous and cheesy as 'Carry on Camping' to a post-post-watershed late-night Saturday slot?

"Programme schedules" and "logic" rarely, if ever, appear in the same sentence.

One morning I saw a fly-on-the-wall programme and clearly heard the word "sh1t". This was before 11:30am.
At 2pm the same day I watched a programme on the Paramount channel - and they bleeped out the word "ass".

Someone please explain that to me.
