Hi All,

What things have amused or tickled you in your life recently that's giving you a little uplift?

I'll start.....

My housemate somehow managing to dye the kitchen rather than her hair.

Gardening with a machete.

Being proud of myself for actually picking up and removing a huge spider while a bit squiffey last night. (I have a phobia of bugs usually.

Finding out that you need to have some sort of license/go on a course in order to handle doormice.

Cheers

The funny facial expressions of my mate's new born baby! lol
Falling off my bed while fully awake AND sober. Made me laugh!
Going to the kitchen with a glass of flat coke and a full ashtray, and promptly emtying the ashtray in the sink and the glass in the bin. D'oh....
a smoke alarm with a snooze button for lazy people
An incident at last week's Summer Sundae Weekender festival, relayed to me over the staff radio.

A man had been waiting to use the disabled toilet and became concerned that the current occupant had been in there for rather a long time. He duly alerted a steward, who managed to access the toilet with a master key - to find a very drunk, non-disabled festival goer in there attempting to erect a pop-up tent!!

As the steward and the first man looked on in disbelief, the drunk's missus turned up, took one look at him and said, "Oh no! He's not done it again, has he!!"
Nearest neighbour having a flat tyre when he was already late for work.

Oh yeah.. Max reminded me of another one... Putting my cup of tea in the fridge and going back to my room with the milk...

Laughter really is the best medicine!
i went and put the butcher meat in my handbag and put my cheque book in the freezer, was going crazy trying to find my cheque book rang the bank worried that it had been stolen, before you all say something this was back in the eighties before debit cards were all the rage!!!
Yesterday , absent mindedly putting both the dog and my breakfast out , her dish and my bowl in front of me and I managed to put her meal in my bowl ...ugh .:-)
As long as you realised before you started eating, Bigmamma! lol We do some daft things, don't we??
Lol max :-)
Ha ha! that just reminded me! when I was about 2, still in nappies, my mum found me on all fours eating with our dogs from their bowl!!! We had 3 boxers, and I must have thought I was a dog too!
I still remember how she freaked out! lol
I did the very same this morning, when tidying up I picked up the dirty socks and underwear from the bedroom took them downstairs, picked up some rubbish en route and then put the rubbish in the washing machine and the clothes in the bin!, I do it a lot actually ..always when i am sober!

Ive done the tea/milk one as well!, I have also put the phone in the fridge when I hung up from someone whilst making tea!
On a more cringeworthy note....
Someone knocked on the door this morning (well, about 11, but it's early for a week end! lol), a jeovah witness i think.
Well, I'd just woken up, so went downstairs, pulled my robe closed and opened the door...When I went back inside, I realised that one of my boobs had "escaped" from my pijama top! thank god I had a robe on!!! lol
My boss caught his shirt sleeve in the safe at work and couldn't move as it takes 4 minutes to re-open! That was actually months ago but it still tickles me.
An old lady's dog just tried to attack me outside the local shop. Think the dog was even older than her! Was really funny, guess you had to be there!
havin an imposter......
A cat came up to me as i was walking along so i bent down to stroke him.He was lovin it,then,he looked up at me and i could just tell he was about to turn.I left him be and carried on walking.Suddenly,he was clinging to the top of my leg, much to the amusement of two lads over the road.It took ages to shake him off....
