In the street scene at the start of Corrie tonight was it just me or did anyone else notice that Gail was bobbing up & down as though she'd lost the heel from one of her shoes? or maybe she was walking with one foot in the gutter like you did when you were little? It just looked so funny to me.
And why does Deirdre always stride out around their tiny house with her arms swinging as though she's on a brisk 5 mile hike?
No insults from soap haters please...I know I should get out more :o)

Hi all, still dongling I see!

And me I'm still trying to figure out where we are. Definitely have a feeling I've seen a few Corrie episodes as a child, but Wikipedia says I haven't... What I remember isn't the series as such but the boost that surrounded it. Anyway, we are practically the jewel in your imperial crown when it comes to being culturally brainwashed through the telly. (But we love it, ever since the Forsyte Saga.) I thought perhaps it might amuse you to know what we are watching at present. Pauper that I am, I only watch three channels, but nevertheless, right now I get to see...

Foyle's War
Life on Mars
Vincent
Rebus
Robin Hood
Bleak House
Parkinson
Barking Mad
London Live
Little Britain
Poirot
Superstorm (starts next week)
Blackjack
Love My Way
Emmerdale
Heartbeat
Rise and Fall of the Roman Empire
(not sure about the English name of that one - it's BBC History, anyway)

(continued below)
...and American Idol. That's British, innit - at least it is when like me you have a soft spot for Simon Cowell (which in real life would freeze to ice I suspect.)

I miss Wire in the Blood and Cold Feet and some educational series that was so hilarious, Great Thinkers of our Time with and by Mark Steele. (Get it if you missed it!)

That's about it, but that's just the series and just my three few channels... We get your films too... and lots of American stuff of course. (Do you get to see a lot of American productions on the telly, I wonder...?)

Want to play the theme for a Swedish teve series to you, but it seems you have to choose between good audio plus crappy video or interesting live video plus crappy sound... Choose for yourselves:

great audio, crappy video (video nothing to do with the Swedish teve series)

Weeping Willows live in Stockholm

Bye now, they're closing!

hahaha...lol maggie jack hammer! I'm having a bit of trouble with that thought!

blimey Kit if that's the theme tune how long is the programme? :o)
Do we watch American programmes? Oh I love Frasier & bring back Knotts Landing is what I say...

I don't watch much telly, except the odd film and I was really into Wire in The Blood. All that psychological stuff. My telly is usually talking to itself while I'm on my 'puta'. In fact I think the Bill's on at the mo.
Been tidying my garden today for when my sons get here on Friday. Only 2 days to go now to the wedding!!!
Hi Maggie hope your'e ok. You seem to have got the hang of this now except I'm still waiting for you to put a piccy on. It took me months and months to learn how to do it so don't worry too much. And then I nearly got us banned! Lol!! Well I'm off to make my Horlicks now. See you later :o)
AAARRRGGGHHH them upstairs have got the gasman in... one guy hasn't had any gas for 2 months so I can't really blame him... but the gas meter is about a foot from my bedhead and someone has been drilling into it since dawn. Sometimes it is painful to be a shift worker. Excuse me while I go find a machine gun.

oh dear jno you'll have to have a
siesta later...are you sure it isn't neti with her jackhammer? be thankful you're not my friend who lives around the corner - her next door neighbours have been extending & building for 5 years!
I can hear the noise sometimes from here, about 50 metres away as the crow flies. It's also the distance the Mcganns were away from their little ones which makes me shudder when I see the reality of that, but hey, I digress.

lovely day here but there was a hint of September in the air first thing...oh no, I've only just cast off me libby.

the yo - man's very quiet lately...have you gone & got yourself a second life Vincent? I see you as an Arab sheik - kaftan & sandals revisited - with a harem, gold plated sprouts & Becks flowing from the taps. :o)

Afternoon All Hope you are all ok. Well I'm getting into wedding mode now. Been and had a mini trim, and going to have my legs spray tanned this afto. Haven't worn a dress since the last wedding I went to in March!
In fact thought you might like to see - watch it to the end. I find it amazing.

" Mr cadbury met ms rowntree in a room on quality st.it was after eight. He turned out the light for a bit of black magic!he slipped his hand in her snickers &showed her his curly wurly.not keen to have any babies she let him take a trip up Bourneville boulevard.she screamed with Turkish delight! as he took out his Mars bar it felt a bit crunchie&she wanted some time out but he did a Twirl &had picnic in her pink wafers!" (:O) anybody for Toast....
ooh er, talk about being better than chocolate, Vinny
Question Author
morning sunbeams...

be'ave theesen Vinny ... I must be the only biddy barred from a virtual club, tut.
I'll give you curly wurly, well, for xmas actually....you WILL wear it & you WILL love it....that's a great video, I didn't know whose side to be on. Not the croc's - I don't like their faces. In fact I'm uneasy with anything that has a face that doesn't move - fish.....Darth Vader (scares the poo outa me).... oh and neti in a face mask. :o)

you've had a mini trim Jude?!...I've heard your skirts are way too short as it is...decorum please dear, it's a wedding...tut. Have a lovely day.

ooh, I quite like the black screen...it's when you return to the white one that it hurts!
oh poop, it's shades of darth again

Morning each and every! Couldn't see Vinny's vid either, so will try again later. Yes, the Illusionist was brilliant Vinny Have you also see "The Prestige" that's equally as good, but you have to concentrate more. All my pirate dvds are arriving safter (!), H:Potter, Simpsons, Hairspray, will be locked in my room (away from me dongle - fair wears me out!) with air con blaring out watching telly.

What's with this jude hairdo's and leg spraying? Bit posh for this area ain't she?? I'm due for another Harry Potter hairdo, but I'm really wondering as to the wisdom of it, so may tint it mysin, and get just an 'aircut afore me hols.

My daughter and husband like Val Mcdarmid books, and have just bought "Wire in the Blood" and many others from England. Shall have to start reading them in winter.
Question Author
Hi Robi, hi Neti!

I know I said I like orange cats, Vinny, but- ...stuuuuuupid buffalo! First they walk their young into a pride of lions and then they dont notice? stand around watching? for like five minutes. Reminds me of when my parents lost me in the middle of the night in Germany driving from Sweden to Spain, ha ha, they didn't notice either - long story! Tell it another time! (Ended well.)

Blackle is a great idea jno but I'm addicted to advanced search. Please tell us again if they... er, if they become more like Google, I guess.

Just came in to wish Jude a nice wedding - nicer than this one anyway.

Am off to hang with a friend and watch Dr Phil - she has more channels than I do and I llllooove Dr Phil. Bye now!
Have managed to see the vid but couldn't watch it. Hate all that stuff, so I ignore it and it doesn't happen.
my sister's garden here's a piccy of my sister's garden as mine is like a wilderness.

another view of it
So lovely and fresh

Been thinking of jude's now tanned legs so decided to use the Sublime Bronze all-over spray tan that I bought in England. I had hidden it from daughter and reached to get it out of a drawer, not wearing glasses , merrily sprayed face then looked at can, it's Femfresh!!! Must have the freshest face in town!!!!
