In the street scene at the start of Corrie tonight was it just me or did anyone else notice that Gail was bobbing up & down as though she'd lost the heel from one of her shoes? or maybe she was walking with one foot in the gutter like you did when you were little? It just looked so funny to me.
And why does Deirdre always stride out around their tiny house with her arms swinging as though she's on a brisk 5 mile hike?
No insults from soap haters please...I know I should get out more :o)

Didn't notice Gail walking oddly, but Deirdre does like to step out.

The one that makes me smile with her silly walk is Kelly. If I didn't know better I'd swear she was a drag artiste.

haha, think you're right Ethel...no one ever kicks off their shoes when they go inside either do they? you never hear them shout 'where's me slippers?' I certainly don't clipclop round the house in stilettos...in fact I can't walk anywhere in stilettos anymore :o)
the silliest of all corrie walks or shuffle comes from Haley
and yes i too think Kelly's a drag artist
Question Author

Hi all. I'll pick up where I was so rudely interrupted by the librarians. Neti's weather report continued: ...but in any case the evenings do get chilly by the end of August, so you should bring 'sensible' clothes, if you've got any, ha ha. celsius converter

Problem solved, jno - just set herself down!

You know, Jude, you really shouldn't talk so much about your dongle and dragging strange men home with you to help with it, you're getting Vinny all... erm, restless and stuff.

Shaney, I love that song you quoted here, Saturday night, You're So Vain. sherlock is

Robinia I bet you and your garden are listed in... I don't know the words for this, but, you know, there are gardens that are open not to the public but to other members of a gardening society. Or you've won some prize. Come on, tell us.
Gotta go, bye now!
Question Author
tut...is everyone locked in the cellar with Annie Walker?

this is probably all foreign to you Kit haha...
...my garden open to the public?! nooo, it's nowhere near that good. Those pics are just small sections of colour, it's nothing like it used to be & this year it's a very poor show with all the rain we've had. Hey-ho it's still a lovely green space to me....I'm used to space.....

so's Vinny

now, anybody got a torch, I'm 'going out back'....bloomin Izal.
....bet I trip over Minnie's darned cat....

Hi to everyone ,ta to Robi for the email .In bed with the flu etc will talk later Dolly.
Cornation Street... goodness, haven't watched it since... was Walter Gabriel on it? The way I remember it it wasn't even black and white, just black and grey
oh yes, this is what my set looked like at the time, we didn't have a screen so we hung a sheet on the wall and watched the shadows it cast... not detailed enough for hairnets, of course

Oh love that Stevie Winward -he had fabulous eyes! I've been down t' corner shop, met that damned Elsie Tanner woman, these days is it allowed to say tanner or must one say new pence? Am glowing like mad here, sp obviously am not in Corrie Street.

Poor Dolly get well soon, at least it's winter down there so you can cosy up in bed, and feel miserable without all the heat. I love that feeling of being in bed with a cold.

Jude did you get to see Harry Potter? I'm getting the dvd (shhh!) on Friday - what did you think of it? I love that nape, but in the new book he dies.

hoi, enough of those spoilers Madame Ibiza, I am saving the HP books to read in my old age and I do not wish to have important plot points revealed now while I am, ahem, still in my 20s.
