Not a surprise though, surely.
Not just taxpayers money, a lot of misery for those whose homes were compulsory purchased.
Most things are achievable given the will and resources. It's unlikely to be that big a priority though.
A bit misleading - Unachievable. You might think it cannot be done.

So it can be achieved, just a little later than planned. As was every major infrastructure project over the last 50 years.

Ah, well, there will be something else insignificant to moan about tomorrow.
Perhaps address that to the infrastructure and projects authority Gromit. They seem to be the ones moaning that it's unachievable.
