Wanted to watch it but its a bit close to the bone at the moment so have given it a miss.

Big fan of the Big Yin and reckon he'll deliver a good programme.

So sorry if my post has offended Eccles.
Not at all Ferlew!

I wanted to watch it as I'm a big fan of BC but thought it might be a bit too close to the bone for me.

I'll hopefully catch up on it another time.
Yup....very interesting...in a weird way !
Gave up on Connolly after he thought it was OK to go onstage and crack jokes about, . . . . . . . .
Ken Bigley (22 April 1942 – 7 October 2004) who was a British civil engineer kidnapped in the al-Mansour district of Baghdad, Iraq, on 16 September 2004, along with his colleagues Jack Hensley and Eugene Armstrong, both United States citizens. All were subsequently decapitated.
its good... he is looking a bit frail though.

Really good tonight - thoughtful and well balanced. Looking forward to part 2 next week.
He has Parkinsons, prostate cancer and severe memory problems.
I've got it on plus 1 now, will see.
severe memory problems ?
I don't know anything about memory problems, he didn't mention that when listing his medical conditions, and I've not seen anything in the press about it?
Yes, for a while. Maybe related to the Parkinsons. I'll see if i can find a link.
Just found one, pixie - he said he had complete memory blanks on-stage, possibly a side effect of Parkinsons, as you say. Interesting that his Parkinsons was first picked up on because someone noticed a change in his gait. Diagnostics is amazing these days for some conditions.
There are quite a few. Here's one-
