Rod at his usual best.....I have to say how outstandingly great Nicola Benedetti was tonight - she is an exceptional musician! Her support backing to Rod singing White Christmas was absolutely beautiful-right to the last note!!

Thanks Matheous.

I missed it too?????? O no!!! ....., Just checked in TV listing and its on ITV at 9.40pm tomorrow - its filmed at Stirling castle and Michael Buble is on too ..... singing christmas songs, looking forward to it ........
Thanks gness. x
I think what has happened is that it is on on different days in different ITV regions, here in the Midlands it hasn't been on tonight but its on tomorrow night at 9.40 instead, but think it was on in the London region tonight so if you missed it Londoners, watch on ITV Player ............
I'm in the Central region Ann.
It wasn't on here in East Anglia either but it's on tomorow night .
I nearly had palpitations there thinking I'd missed Rod :)
Not on in London either - looking forward to it tomorrow night, even going to record Homeland so we can watch it after X Factor final
I'm in East Anglia and it's on my telly.
Oh! sorry I just realised i am watching the repeat.
We watched it last night and thoroughly enjoyed every second. When it ended I felt as if I had spent the evening at the Theatre.

I was so cross with myself I hadn't recorded it to watch again. Definitely a program that should have been on over the Christmas holiday instead of some of the cr*p that will be on.
I watched it last night .He was brilliant . I've seen him live several times and he never fails to entertain.
I would have liked a bit of Handbags and Gladrags and Maggie May but it was a Christmas show .
He still floats my boat :)
Totally totally agree Cupotee, it was just wonderful, we loved every minute of it and I rang my entire family to tell them to watch it! We are so short of these kinds of Christmas shows now, with all the old Christmas songs everyone knows and loves, most people know all the words and sing along. In the 60s and 70s there were all kinds of seasonal shows on over Christmas, Perry Como, Andy Williams, Val Doonican and of course the wonderful Black and White Minstrels who, in my opinion are very sadly missed. As you say it was like going out to the West End in the comfort of your living room. We hardly have the TV on at Christmas these days, such awful programmes and films ............
//He still floats my boat :) //
Me too shaney! Wow! We saw him many years ago at Wembley "in the round" and he was just brilliant. I love to see Penny too, she is such a happy person, completely natural and its obvious they really love each other.
