the secrets of crickley hall[ the final episode] was on last night. what did those of you who watched it make of the ending?

i'm still confused as to what happened to their son. they said he died of accidental drowning. but in the first episode you definitely see him getting carted off by some unknown perpetrator.

I found the ending disappointing. If Mr. Cribben stayed there, were future owners still going to feel his whippings, even though Nancy had taken the children away. I guessed that the medium was Maurice, though. Evil to the last as was his lover, Cribben's sister.

well why read the post jem? are we not allowed to discuss programmes that have already been on in case someoen is watching them on catch-up?

I thought the book was pretty atrocious so I didn't bother with it. If the show stayed faithful to the book then I would say the ending does leave you feeling a bit 'meh'.

I liked the book....not as much as the Ghosts of Sleath though.

I've just downloaded the ManBooker prize winner Bring Up The Bodies......I like historical ones and it's supposed to be a bit gruesome.

Do you read any CJ Samson? I adore him, his novels are also set during Henry 8th. I'm also just starting to Rory Clements.

Eve fell asleep and when she awoke, he'd gone. The last we saw of him was when he was playing on the slide or the roundabout.
I was glad the dog was o.k.
What happened to Cribben's sister though? Is she still standing under that tree?

Well, I enjoyed it anyway!!
