I think the programme is poor quality entertainment and is nothing short of sugary sh....shush, enough said, apart from Alan's (sorry, Sir Alan's) facial follicles.

Is he unable to grow a real beard and has to appear with stubble on his face.?

ahem, that's Lord Sugar to you
Not your kind of programme then viv?
I can't stand those shows. Hell's Kitchen is the terrible. The idea in a dinner rush is not to loose your cool.

Thanks bibblebub for correcting me. I now owe an apology to his lordship. :-)

Ron.
car crash tv ...

a bunch of no-hopers trying to bitch and back-stab their way into a job kissing Alan Sugar's arse?

and we pay to watch them ????
I quite enjoyed it, but then I always do. I like reality shows.
Another one on tomorrow at 9pm.(Apprentice)
I agreed with Alan's fireing tonight too.

I like it, it's better than some of the Sugar that's on telly!! What harm are they doing, trying to impress someone and getting a career and a well paid job at the end of it...good on them I say!! If you don't like it, why watch it ;o)

chrissa...I really enjoy the programme. It's my husband Ron who posted his usual nonsense and Trim is right to have fired him.

Viv...(the better half of vivandorron.)
A Lord for Gods sake, hes a mate of Gordan brown!
Never really followed the show at all. Any glimpses I've ever caught of it just appear to be same old, same old.
I thought the show was about young people going into business with a top entrepreneur but it only appears to be a bunch of pie-in-the-sky no hopers, con artists, bullshitters and blaggers, backstabbing each other in order to 'climb the ladder to success'.
We'll doubtless get media overload on the 'contestants' over the coming weeks, with plenty of kiss and tell '3 in a bed romp' stories abound in the daily rags......

Cynical? Moi?

I wish thank all who have responded to my sugary thread.(incl: Viv who often agrees with Trim. ☺)

Ron.
Missed half of it last night, I fell asleep, I'll make a decision after Part 2 tonight.
I used to like it, but I think it's a tired old formula now.

And I was so glad he got rid of that Edward last night.

(sorry trt, but I like Gordon Brown).
Sorry Ron, I mean Viv. It's wrong to confuse an old biddy yer know.
Just to say that I love stubble!
It always was, at least as far as I was able to tolerate checking it out.

Never understood Sugar's ability to gain admiration and this sort of role. As I recall he made his name on the sale of an unremarkable personal PC, and by taking last place in the satellite aerial industry. Strange recommendations.
