Who are those humanoid figures near the end. Are they robots, aliens or human which has evolved?

They are all the discarded, unwanted, outdated robots who have gathered over a period of time. They cannot die and have nowhere to go other than here.

Been a long time since I saw it, but they're robots that have evolved. They resemble the logo of the corporation that started the A.I.s off from what I remember.
