My favourite books back then were Watership Down, all the Paddington books and My Naughty Little Sister - but I do remember What Katy Did and What Katy Did next, and something by Rumer Godden involving Japanese princesses or something. I just remembered another: Flat Stanley.

I loved Beatrix Potter books and the Famous Five and the Famous Seven. I used to read Peter Rabbit to my Granddaughter over and over again.

Since this is in Reality TV, I think jem's talking about something to do with Katie Price...
but I'm with gran and answerprancer, the originals were my favourite books when I was little, along with the Naughtiest Girl in the School books and Angela Brazil - girls at boarding school, jolly hockey sticks!

Boxtops,- you're right I am talking about the reality show about 'Katy Price' but the answers alone tell me no-one knows what the heck I'm talking about, but thats fine.
While we're on the subject I too was a great Enid Blyton fan and I'm afraid I never did read 'The Katy' books..

To be honest Jem, I wouldn't watch that slapper if it was the only show on TV!

However, I loved the Katy books, the Famous Five and Little Women etc
