I bow to no-one in my admiration of Cheryl Cole as a godess with physical charms too numerous to mention, as well as a fesity character who takes cr@p from no-one which endears her to the X-Factor audience, as well as Simon Cowell who obviously likes and respects her.

That said - the idea of miming as a professional singer mentoring amateurs who have to sing 'live' is simply unacceptable. It does nothing for her mentees' respect of her, and for the audience who want to feel that she walks the walk.

The editing was so swift and choppy, it was impossible to see if Cheryl was miming any, all, or none of her song - but she should have simply sung 'live' and silenced her detractors.

I liked it.

It was a polished performance which I think she pulled off really well. She can sing, we all know that (remember Pop Stars anyone?). As Andy said, she's a stunning girl and I wish her all the best.

The song itself is growing on me too.

I simply don't think she has a good singing voice. In fact she has a lousy singing voice. But does it matter, the fella's love her and she seems to have a lot of admirers. I think the song is totally mediocre too.

I agree with Lottie. Cheryl's voice is poor and the single is driving me mad; I hate it!
BUT, she seems like a really nice person and yes, she is stunning looking. (Although I do think she's getting a bit too thin lately).
