When is the Apprentice filmed?

The reason I am asking is, its obviously filmed a few weeks ago or maybe months, and wonder why its never leaked out who the winner is?

Yes it's filmed well in advance.

I imagine there is a hefty legal penalty if anyone discloses details about the show.

I don't know how long in advance it is filmed.

The reason it is never leaked who won is this - they film both finalists being told that they have won. After this both are given temp jobs with Sir Alan. Only when the programme is broadcast do they find out who has won - they are watching in the "The Apprentice: You're Hired" studio on BBC 2 which follows straight after the main programme.

Judging from the general appearance of life on the trees and the amount of daylight, it is filmed in about October.
