Did anyone see this saturday night on Beeb2? Brilliant stuff (though lots of explicit gay sex) but Matt Smith, yes Dr Who, was fantastic in it. And I never realised this was the story that Cabaret was loosely based on.

Too much writing for some - my BF would never have watched it, but I thought it extremely well acted. Apparently Isherwood was supposed to have been quite an unlikeable character, but I rather liked him.

Yes it was good but I was more intrigued by the notes at the end of the show about Isherwoods brother who spent the rest of his life sharing his mothers bed!!!!!!!!
