The chair under my lovely Dad must be 100 years old as my GGdwas born in 1873 and joined the army when he was 21 and lived in India for years. I'll take a photo of it later. I love it.
All clear at the dentist I'm pleased to say and he says my gums are really good for my age.

I was married in St Paul's, celeb guest list, honeymooned on Mustique...it was a dream wedding. :o). I don't feel a need to be married...but I never say never about most things. Ex's on his third...for now, I'm sensing...

You asked what did happen to Rob Underwood, sorry jno. Well he was whisked away without explanation or warning to another area, typical BBC. Now it looks like he's been moved again...there's nothing bad about him whatsoever, quite the opposite. Now we've got a woman Mon-Thurs who seems pretty popular but I find irritating and sometimes comes over as false and patronising (it's mostly phone in) ...Friday guy is lovely though.

oooh, by heck it was colder out than I'd bargained for. As we seem to be going back in time I brought us back an Arctic Roll, £1 from 'that big frozen food shop'...anyone got a Vesta chow mein/beef curry?...jno please stop wretching...

Hello all. Took Sis to the coach station, did a bit of shopping in town, came home and fell asleep. Got to nip out to drop off the ironing in a bit, then I think early dinner and an early night, the wind (weather not digestive) has made sleep a little hard of late.

Yep registry office for us to .We did have a "do" afterwards though at a little restaurant in Lowestoft .Altogether with the food and drinks the bill came to about eighty quid !
It was a freezing cold day and snowing .My in laws travelled from Germany .
We did have photos though ,all done professionally and given to us in a lovely album by my ex employer as a wedding present .
We had some special licence thing too because Mr S wasnt resident here .

He was a good looking man wasn't he Shaney :o) He had lovely white hair all his later life. He was 92 when I died.

How spooky - Our Jude is a ghost!!

(My wedding cost the licence fee, and probably about £50.00 for a few drinks and sarnies. I did buy a new outfit but seeing as it was just normal clothing, I haven't counted that. No photos, just a few snapshots that my uncle took. Oh, and yes a small bunch of flowers which I looked so awkward holding, but I think someone insisted I carry flowers. I ended up carrying a brown paper bag, but that is another story)

Son has just lost his shed roof - well it wasn't a very satisfactory shed roof anyway and has probably taken off across the rooftops. It is far windier here tonight than it was yesterday.

Jude, you look just like your father!! Well, except you are a female version.

I am about to call in the ghost busters, watch out Jude.

Morning all...well I for one didn't sleep toight, hardly at all in fact. Strewth the weather was wild, and still is....hope everyone's intact.

Better get the radio on to be warming up, it'll soon be time for Keep Fit with Eileen Dover....

morning all, wild and windy all night here so we all slept in, still wild and windy here but the shed still has a roof. Don't think I'll do too much today.

I shall not do much today either Woofy. It was really awful last night, but apart from one section of garage roofing felt flying off and scratching my car bonnet, and a couple of shredded poly-greenhouses we are OK.
