It is no fun living near the seaside and providing a constant target for some tern or other. I am struggling now back at work, albeit part time, after considerable sick leave, but it had to be done ;o)

The bills have to be paid don't they. It's hard going back after a long absence. Has to be done though.

We get the seagulls etc. here too. They get beaten up by the crows, but the idiots still come back!

I shall be off in a couple of hours to my country weekend retreat aka my skin and blister. The crows and buzzards take over out there. One bird likes to make a royal fly past up the long drive and get hits on the radiator grill, bonnet, front windscreen, two on the roof and, if it has any left over, the back windscreen of the estate car. No wonder they say nature is a powerful force!

No, society. I don't live on a boat. But We are members of Cotswold Canals Trust. We are restoring the Stroudwater Navigation and the Thames and Severn canals, to re-open the cross country link between the two rivers. I was the boat charter manager.
