nowt, it was a rubbish scene and carried no weight, disapointing.

He didn't do anything, he tried to walk away. Very bad advert for the police I'm afraid.

He and Plonker Platt were coming out of a pub a bit worse for wear through drink. A passing police patrol stooped to question them, at which point they both set their lip up. Gary was asked to take his jacket off so they could search for drugs, which he refused to do. Gary refused on the grounds that it was cold, so the policeman suggested they go down to the station where it was nice and warm. As the policeman took hold of him to put him in the van he had flashbacks to being trapped in the tank in Afghanistan so he struck out, ending in his arrest.
