Childrens TV Programme. Early 90's. Possibly called "the weathertops"

Hi.

Can anyone remember a the name a childrens TV show from the early 90's.

It was shown on BBC1 in the afternoons (cbbc). It started with a weather station type clock & a mechanical man & woman would come out of the doors & chime.
I think they were called "Mr & Mrs Weathertop".
The show was a cartoon & I remember the theme tune had childresn singing & I seem to remember the words "here come the rain" or "its time for the rain"

it was "The Woodentops"
not the playbus ???
