was back tonight for a new series - BBC4 10.o.clock - Black comedy set in a hospital ward - Jo Brand is one of the nurses. Half an hour is not long enough, should be on for an hour.

Botheration DEN I missed it - good old iPlayer though. I first saw this perchance channel hopping and was beguiled by it.
A really strange but compelling program, and I agree not long enough!
I was amazed to read that its mostly ad-libbed. Fair play to all the actors.

I am glad I read this - after watching last night's first episode in the new series, I thought it was my eyes, but the camera was jumping about a bit and was a tad annoying. Its the quickest half and hour viewing on record. Love it...
I missed it, saw the writeup in today's paper. I'll try to catch it next week. They say the informal camera style is deliberate!

Hiya Boxy - it was very funny - you will have to watch on catch up.

I don't know why its not on BBC1.
Should be good
Jo Brand used to be a nurse in real life so she should be good in this role
zzxxee - psychiatric nurse - I couldn't do it, I have great respect for people in that profession.

I have yet to see the programme but will give it a look
i agree nurses are angels on earth x
I watched it last night. It's very good..
Brilliant television. Hopefully it will soon be on terrestrial TV too. We only have the 5 channels.
I went to a fancy dress party once as Jo Brand, it was dead easy black trousers black big sloppy t shirt borrowed a pair of boots from my bro & bought a black punk wig from the market. Put lashings of bright red lipstick on.
(My H reckoned I looked as if I'd been smashed in the mouth with a meat cleaver)
I Won. = A bottle of whiskey.

jem
I watched and loved the first series, im a big fan of Ricky Grover who i think is very funny and grossly underused as an Actor.
I didnt realise that the new series had started so i will scour the papers to see if it is getting repeated, im sure it will be!
